About the event
Design and Build Your Own Overdrive/Distortion Guitar Pedal.
CRAS is hosting a unique learning experience to build your own guitar pedal, while learning a little about why different electronic components do what they do.
You will solder the main circuit board, wire the input jacks, volume knobs, and power jack.
Then, with guidance from the plans and instructors, you’ll install, audition, and choose from a bunch of different components in your board to define your own sound:
Smooth blues overdrive, to 70’s rock, to fuzz, to cutting metal… You decide!
